Tools for validation, overview or analysis, are the common part of the ATC services nowadays. All tools are designed after the careful cooperation with the operational air traffic controllers, technical support and needs encountered by air traffic control services.
Advantages
-
HW unpretentiousness
-
Service Support
-
Runing update
-
Deposable modular, easily customizable
JRadar enables to view, use the radar data in both stand-by application or as a shared applet. Viewing data are in asterix format and possibly in other specific formats which can be combined. User authentication is a standard functionality of this product. It offers efficient use of cooperation with the server of external users (FOXTR).
Software operating as Java applet in frames of common Internet browser or as stay alone Java application displays actual, archived or simulated radar situation.
The form of the presentation is the same as it is presented to ATCOs inclusive radar maps, radar target legends, filters and other information. Server part, created in Java language, is absolutely independent from HW and OS.
The main features
-
Easy start-up with no necessity of the installation.
-
Transparent analogical radar data displaying.
-
OS and HW independence.
-
Automatic radar data archiving.
-
Possibility to playback archived data.
-
Different categories Asterix format support
Advantages
-
Very easy installation.
-
Low costs on HW.
-
HW a OS independence.
-
Archiving and playback of recorded radar data.
-
Radar data support in Asterix format - different categories.
FOXTR
Server for external users was created for the radar data users, for easy filtering of data. Foxtr allows particular airline to display only data about its own aircraft, or about partner's flights.
FOXTR system distributes Asterix data to different types of users. Data are filtered according to the user’s needs respecting security aspects. Special network protocol SafeComm is protecting radar data from misuse by non-authorized persons. jRadar – a user friendly java applet – displays distributed data in a 3D radar view which offers navigation, zoom, measurements and many other features in a standard web page.
THE MAIN FEATURES
• Stream processing.
• Secure data distribution via Access Points Service.
• Archived data replay.
• Dual mode available.
• Secure Java applet.
ADVANTAGES
• Various ASTERIX categories from different sources.
• Hardware/ software authentification supported.
• Archived data placed on disks in RAID array.
CoTool
CoTool is a useful tool simplifying testing during radar site tuning and radar data evaluation.
CoTool sets and evaluates radar data allowing analysis of multi tracking and other radar features. The integrated applications (CaCTool for checking Mode-S Callsign and PoCTool for ADS-B position) can be displayed in the same view. Detailed Asterix data can be displayed for selected targets.
The main features
-
Multiple sources on single screen.
-
Mode-S Callsign control.
-
ADS-B position control.
-
Easy installation (Unix and Windows).
-
Three-Dimensional view
Advantages
-
Easy installation.
-
Standalone Java application.
-
Several instances of Obelix can run at the same time.
-
Unlimited number of sources.
-
Moving targets in 3D view.
-
View CaCTool and PoCTool results in a web browser.
-
Rotate around target or predefined positions.
-
Detailed ASTERIX data.
UNIVERSAL SNMP AGENT
The purpose of the system is to allow monitoring of various objects in monitored systems from one single point.
Unlike the standard SNMP agents, it is not incorporated into the monitored applications, but it is applied as an independent process exchanging data with monitored applications through the dedicated protocol, which is designed to be friendly-user as possible.
The main features
-
Main components represent OSS Inspector and Process Inspector
-
System provides scalar data of all basic types defined in SMI and tables of scalar data.
-
System receives and stores data from different monitoring systems simultaneously.
Advantages
-
Oversimplify the development of monitored applications by de-coupling them from SNMP interface.
-
Monitoring of many applications from one point.
-
Providing monitored data to many NMS.
-
Improve time response to NMS requests.
FPL Convertor
FPL Convertor is a separate system that receives messages with information about flight plans in the new format (2012) and converts them into the original format.
The software of the system operates on a separate hardware that is connected to the messages source on one side and their users on the other one.
The product is designed for usage in ATM systems which meet all the following conditions:
• they work with flight plans or derived information,
• they do not use the information which has been established in the new format of flight plans,
• sources, from which they currently draw the information about flight plans, will be converted in order to comply with the new format,
• currently there are no plans to adapt them to the new format.
FPL Convertor is a good solution for these systems because it allows them to work with the modified sources of information and work on their current hardware and software.
The main features
-
Can be connected to the AFTN network from which it will receive messages intended for conversion.
-
Ability to process meassages of format ICAO ATS and Eurocontrol ADEXP on the AFTN network.
-
Can be connected to the source of coordination messages with X.25, using a proprietary protocol, or via Ethernet interface with RJ-45 connector and using TCP / IP.
-
Ability to process coordination messages of type OLDI and AIDC.
-
Can be put into operation without modification of user systems.
-
FPL converts message items in compliance with the rules appointed by ICAO and EUROCONTROL.
Advantages
-
Allows the current ATM system to process existing and new flight plan.
-
Low maintenance and operating costs.
-
Ability to access FPLC via Internet.
-
Ability to monitor FPLC via SNMP.
