Technical Description – SUNIZER Tubular Skylight

Why SUNIZER? It has never been easier to illuminate a room in the middle of a house, office, shop or hall by sunbeams.

SUNIZER’s uniqueness consists in using Fresnel lenses which can affect the final parameters very favourably. Fresnel lenses multiply sunbeams entering the system and then direct them to the desired place.

SUNIZER is absolutely unique structural element distinguishing mainly for its utilization purpose and its extremely high efficiency.

Patent

SUNIZER utilizes Fresnel lenses for multiplying sunbeams. Its efficiency differs significantly against the competitive skylights. SUNIZER has got the widest dispersive power also thanks to wide dispersive area of the diffuser (60x60cm).

Note: Glass or plastic Fresnel lenses are also used for light-houses, theatre, film and army headlights, driving lights of the motor vehicles, traffic and signal lights, overhead projectors etc.

Roof part

SUNIZER Diffuser – unique system multiplying and dispersing light in the interior

Ceiling diffuser consists of 36 Fresnel lenses and serves for both sunbeams multiplication and it is a very nice aesthetical element appreciated by designers and architects. Its dimensions are 60 x 60 cm and it is adjusted for easy installation also into the compartment/pan ceiling.

SUNIZER´s top dome imitates dormer window/roof window. Due to this feature, it fits together with the roof system perfectly.

SUNIZER has got the top roof dome designed to absorb sunbeams by the maximum area (60 x 60 cm on the entry) and still does not disturb on the roof. It is indistinguishable from common roof hatch or dormer window. SUNIZER also meets strict requirement of National Institute for the Protection and Conservation of Monuments and Sites of the Czech Republic.

SUNIZER can be installed onto the historical buildings which was impossible with other common skylights.

SUNIZER is supplied in two different sets for:

• flat roof – with punched out polygonal top dome
• pitched roof - you can decide if you will use the flat top dome with anti-reflexive filters or punched out polygonal top dome. 

Sunrays absorbed by collector on the roof top pass through super-reflexive tube system with  2% reflection loss only. It means that the system efficiency is incredible 98% . This enables light transfer for tens of meters.

Should you need to install SUNIZER into the rooms where fire resistance is required, we can supply you with the system ceiling elements meeting fire endurance requirements. These elements protect other sections against fire.

Utilization possibilities in the evening: You can install super-efficient LED diodes into SUNIZER in order to use SUNIZER in the evening too. Then you can use SUNIZER as a common ceiling light. LED diodes are specific for their very low energy consumption and high output. You can also use saving fluorescent tubes for lamps for lightening.

The first skylight with possibility to regulate output: You can use electrical flaps for installation where light regulation is required within the day. The flaps reduce sunlight in the room. This regulation is often required for projection halls, presentation rooms, bedrooms and children´s room.

After summarization of all SUNIZER´s features, we get unique structural element which can illuminate dark corners in the room in the middle of the house. This is performed absolutely ecologically and with low costs.

High efficiency is an undisputed advantage of SUNIZER system –you can use smaller diameter for high-quality room´s illumination than you had to use before. Based on this fact, the whole roof and ceiling construction is not overburdened. You can install SUNIZERs where room illumination with healthy natural daylight was impossible so far.

Another advantage of the SUNIZER system is its easy and highly efficient installation into the construction. Installation process usually takes approximately 6-8 hours.

No special construction adjustment is required. Simply choose suitable place, cut the opening in the roof and in the ceiling and install SUNIZER there. Installation into roofing is similar to the installation of classical dormer window/roof window.
