Automatic boilers for solid fuels represent modern way of utilization of solid fuel resources - especially wood pellets and sorted brown and hard coal. They achieve simplicity of gas boilers by their comfort of control and regulation. They allow use some advantages of automatic operation controlled by room regulator also in the areas without gas distribution.

The cast iron exchanger warranting boiler life time is a main part of the boiler. A retort burner with a mixer is placed in steel boiler pedestal. Up to it the ceramics are placed there which regulates the burning and reflect the heat back to the burner and assist a complete combustion. Fuel feeding into the burner is designed by screw feeder from boiler reservoir through retort on cast iron grate.
Safety elements - The boiler is protected from fuel fire penetration by heat-sensing element on screw pipe, in case of power cut is protected by thermal fuse that is placed in the boiler reservoir. Heating system is protected from overheating by safety thermostat.
Boiler regulator enables setting the fuel feeder, water heater pump, circulation pump, fan with a butterfly valve. It is equipped with temperature sensors and includes room thermostat outlet.

Boiler construction and fuel channels – the shell is formed by cast iron unit of own construction, whereby high life time of the boiler is guaranteed. The burner empties into the combustion chamber up to it a ceramic arch and ceramics are placed. These ones direct burning and have positive influence on emission values.
Fuel is transported into the burner by the help of two screw conveyors with individual drives that are connected with flexible hose. It protects from eventual fire penetration of channels and boiler safety is secured. Heating system is protected from overheating by safety thermostat.
The boiler supplied under the trade mark HERCULES ECO “new design” includes automatic ignition, and version of possible connection with solar systems.
Due to its high variability of setting the parameters of regulator the boiler enables fully and effectively utilize the merits of automatic wood pellet boilers, especially economy operation, controlled combustion process and thereby combustion polluting material minimization.
