Vapor barrier N (08.53)

 

A three-layer material. The loadbearing portion consists of a PE grid providing the necessary strength, top and bottom layers of polyethylene film providing waterproofing and vapor tight capability. The film prevents vapor formed during household activities from penetrating the roof structure and thermal insulation. Prevents condensation in insulating layers, which protects the roof from heat loss and leakage, thereby increasing efficiency. The SPECIAL version of the film is non-flammable.

Use Vapor permeable film D or Contact membrane when diffusive open film and membranes are required.

Contact membrane (08.58)

 

A three-layer material consisting of PP-PE-PP. A membrane placed under the roof to protect the construction, thermal insulation and area under the rooftop from moisture caused by rain and snow, from dust and soot, and from the adverse effects of wind. Thanks to its structure, it simultaneously enables the maximum ventilation of water vapor from inside the building. Intended for all pitched rooftops (ventilated or unventilated, covered or uncovered) and can be directly applied to chemically treated roof structures.

Roof fastening tape DB MEMBRANE (08.59c)

A strong adhesive tape with high vapor permeability for bonding safety overlaps of diffusion film, i.e. the membranes and joints of insulating layers of steep rooftops under roof coverings. Mainly used for permanently permeable membrane connections, diffusion film and similar material from water leaking into the attic as a result of blown and powdered snow melting.

Reflexive foil ALPET (08.52)

A three-layer material. The loadbearing portion consists of a PE grid to ensure the desired strength of the foil, with an aluminum metalized layer to provide its reflective capability. Prevents vapor formed during household activities from penetrating the roof structure and thermal insulation. Traps heat in the interior and prevents water condensation in the insulation layers. Thanks to its metalized aluminum reflective layer, Alpet moreover reflects a portion of the radiant heat into the interior of the building (as opposed to film without a threefold aluminum layer).

Butylene tape for bonding vapor barriers (08.55)

For bonding PE film (waterproof and vapor tight film) in vapor tight roof systems or in other industrial applications. Bonding end joints in roof structures. Supporting adhesive for all laminated materials.

Characteristics:

• Very soft, pliable, easy to apply
• Excellent adhesion to building materials, including plastics
• Very resistant to moisture, oxidation and chemical fumes
• Excellent adhesion to PE

Rooftop fastening tape DB FLEX (08.59b)

Special one-sided PE tape with an effective adhesive designed especially for permanent airtight seals of overlapping joints and the immediate joints of vapor tight and protective insulation such as PE and PP films, sulfate cartons, fleece, large thin chipboards (OSB) and aluminum foil, for window trim, ventilation tubes, etc. For interiors and exteriors. Used outdoors for up to 4 months before laying the covering.

Roof fastening tape DB DUO (08.59a)

A special double-sided tape with acrylic adhesive and no solvents designed for air-tight, durable bonding of vapor-tight film, trimming skylights, etc. For interiors and exteriors. For example, PE and PP film, sulfate cartons, fleece, large sheets of thin chipboards (OSB) and aluminum foil.
