Life rafts
The life rafts are intended for an emergency survival on the sea and are an indispensable equipment of a ship, yacht or a helicopter in case of capsize or accident.
The Gumotex life rafts are offered in several modifications differing in the determined number of persons (available in sizes 4, 6, 8 or 12 persons), in the packaging type (valise or container) and in the equipment. The life rafts are intended for non-commercial voyages and have to be placed on deck in such way to be immediately ready for use, this is already taken into account with their space-saving packaging. At the time of need the inflatable system is activated by pulling the painter line and the life raft will inflate.
The life rafts are equipped with emergency pack for survival of the crew (drinking water, paddles, rescue throwing quoit etc. depending on the appropriate life raft type) and with further useful equipment e.g. boarding ramp, righting strap, safety lifelines, reflective strips and similar. Ballast pockets for stabilization that after being filled with water prevent capsize in heavy seas are provided.
