No sleeve is necessary when anchoring in solid material and the hole can be filled from 1/3 to 1/2.

For anchoring bolts and reinforcement braces in porous material, whereby the sleeve is filled to the brim with the liquid anchor and then the bolt or brace is forced inside by the turn of the screw. Plastic sleeves are manufactured in various lengths with an outer liner when using a smaller diameter screw.

For anchoring anything quickly and easily to all common building materials. Good, for example, for anchoring basic starter strips of insulation systems, anchoring sheet metal anchors for windows, etc. The hole is pre-drilled according to the diameter of the dowel.
