Sandwich panels
Sandwich panels
Sandwich panels are used in facades, roofs, compartmenting structures, partition walls and ceilings. They are typically used in industrial and commercial buildings, sports facilities, warehouses and power plants. Sandwich panels are also suitable for use in construction for the food industry and demanding cleanroom applications.
A sandwich panel is a cost-efficient prefabricated element that has two colour-coated steel sheet layers with an inner insulation core between them. The insulating core can be mineral wool, polyurethane, polyisocyanurate or polystyrene.
Ruukki sandwich panels - green efficiency
Ruukki’s sandwich panel walls have a high degree of thermal insulation and air-tightness by default. Even by using our basic sandwich panel solutions for external walls, internal walls, ceilings and roofs you can increase the LEED and BREEAM credit count for your building as well as lower heating energy costs and CO2 emissions.
Save up to 30% in yearly energy costs with AIR energy sandwich panels
Our new energy sandwich panel solution creates savings in heating costs, leading, in turn, to significantly reduced carbon dioxide emissions generated by the use of the building.
