Safety Switches for Belt Transport and Warning Signal

 

Introduction 

To mount safety elements only according to the Electro Project and based solely on that one, currently seems to be too hazardous and in many cases also impossible. To be specific, we now talk about belt conveyors. If such belt conveyors are concerned, we have to deal with individual positions of pull-wire switches, we have to calculate the maximum wire length depending on temperature and friction rates and we also have to consider travelling tracks and paths, mechanical stress and the like. Irrespective of this machinery aspect on one hand, but having due respect to the control circuit safety category determined and stated in the report on the other hand, it is necessary to make an appropriate and correct mounting and to determine how many conveyors and in which way the conveyors will be stopped in case the emergency stop switch is activated. 

Project documentation shall include the method to be taken for placing all elements including machinery(-related) adjustments and use of various accessories and attachments as well. 

We offer partnership and assistance in placing safety elements listed in the Specification. Placing and positioning of safety elements is carried out through general assembly and/or through assembly of appropriate elements.
